John R. Ruehle II has extensive expertise in I/S and Strategic planning across a number of industries including healthcare, distribution, manufacturing, transportation and retail. He brings to bear 18 years of expertise with IBM in helping organizations design and implement strategies that focus on their core strengths and capabilities critical to their success. He has implemented automated planning processes to help healthcare organizations better focus their limited resources on those strategies pertinent to their survival. He has also worked with several state hospital associations to develop strategies to address member and state issues. These include associations in Texas, Colorado, Maine, Vermont, Nevada and Nebraska. He helps organizations identify their I/S requirements and key strategies and integrate these strategies with their business plans. He is currently a special consultant to the American Hospital Association's Center for Health Care Leadership, where his work focuses on Information Systems and designing automated solutions for business issues.
Mr. Ruehle has also served on several boards of non-profit organizations such as Make-A-Wish Foundation and Home for Battered Women. He is an ex-combat veteran with the U.S. Marine Corps and currently resides in Oregon where he is helping his wife raise a family.
